1. Toothbrush for seat crumbs
If you are having trouble getting those stubborn crumbs out of the cracks of the seats of your car, using a toothbrush will do the trick. A toothbrush is small enough to get into those cracks when a regular vacuum isn’t cutting it.
2. Clean cup holders with a sock
Car cup holders are known for accumulating dust, dirt, and clutter over time. And there’s no doubt that they can be hard to clean.
Grab an old sock and put it over a cup. Spray it with your favorite cleaning solution. Give it a good twist and turn, and your cup holders will look brand new!
3. Sprinkle baking soda before vacuuming
Over time cars can develop some strange smells. Let’s face it, with all the sweaty gym bags, food runs, and trips to the dog groomer, your car’s fabric surfaces can only take so much.
To help eliminate odors, sprinkle some baking soda onto your seats and carpet and let it set. Then all you have to do is vacuum it up, and you’ll have a car that smells fresh and clean.
Pro tip: If you want to vacuum your car more often without having to go to the car wash, check out this car vacuum cleaner. It’s under $30!

Using coffee filters to remove unwanted dust in your car is a cheap way to manage the dust. For some reason, my car gets super dusty really fast! Keeping these handy in my console helps me to be able to manage everything before it gets too out of hand.
7. Microfiber cloths will be your BFF
Microfiber cloths are the holy grail of keeping your car clean. They seriously can be used for anything and everything. I like to keep them on hand to remove fingerprints and water stains from my windows.
They are also good to have if you are washing your car! They get all of the dirt off and will keep your wheels shiny and clean.
8. Stain Remover Car Cleaning Hacks: Use club soda to remove stains
There’s always that ONE STAIN in your car that won’t go away no matter how much elbow grease you put into it.
To make things a little bit easier, try lightly spraying a mixture of club soda, vinegar, dish soap, and warm water onto the tough stains on your car seats.
Use a brush to scrub and viola, the stain will be eliminated (hopefully, some are a little more stubborn than others).
If you try the club soda your stubborn stain STILL won’t budge, try this Folex cleaning spray. This spray is the queen of stain removers!

You can try mixing some baking powder and dish soap in a spray bottle with hot water. Spray it on and let it sit for about 10 minutes and it should wipe right off!
