It is important to remember that doesn’t take anything fancy to improve the overall quality of your skin. Most of the time it all comes down to our overall daily habits which can make all the difference.

Change your pillow cases
Changing pillow cases as something that can overlooked when it comes to the importance of how it affects your skin.
If you think about it, we’re laying in the same spot for more than seven or eight hours every night and dirt and dust and bacteria are just collecting. Is important to change your pillowcases at least once per week
While we’re on the topic of pillowcases, I also recommend switching to silk pillowcases. Silk pillowcases don’t clog your pores, and they reduce the friction between your face and the pillow leading to less bacteria buildup in less breakouts.
Don’t forget your sunscreen
Sunscreen helps prevent sun damage and protect you from those harmful UV rays. Sunscreen also helps with hyperpigmentation issues, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles dark spots.
I never really recognized the importance of sunscreen until I heard so many skin specialists talk about the other lesser known benefits of using sunscreen.
I always thought it was just to keep you from getting sunburned! Or only for when you are going to be outside for a long time at the pool. I never really recognized the day-to-day benefit of using sunscreen regularly and how it can truly change the appearance of your skin.
Have a good skin care routine
If you are trying to incorporate healthy skin habits into your daily routine, having a good skin care routine should be at the top of your list of things to do.
Having a set morning skincare routine and night skincare routine will keep you on track to having healthy and clear scan that you love.
Your skincare routine doesn’t have to be anything fancy. All you need are a few staple products such as a good gentle cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.
Pro tip: Be sure that you are washing your face twice a day for at least 60 seconds to be sure you are getting a really good deep clean!
Drink plenty of water
Water is so important when it comes to having healthy skin. Water helps flush out excess toxins from our bodies that are known to cause breakouts and acne.
Dehydrated skin is unhappy skin, and we want to keep our skin happy so it can be healthy. If your skin has been acting out a little bit lately, try increasing your water intake for a couple of days!
Water is not the end-all be-all when it comes to having clear skin. There are of course so many other factors that go into it! However, it is one important component that is often over looked.

Moisturizer will be your best friend
Moisturizing is key when it comes to having healthy skin. Whether you have dry skin, oily skin, normal skin, or combo skin, moisturizing is a must have.
Without moisturizing, your skin can become dry and irritated. This leads to unwanted breakouts, flaky skin, and unwanted skin problems.
