Is it really a Christmas party without a secret santa? Have each of your guests fill out a secret santa wish list of some of their favorite things.
Next, everyone will pull a name out of the drawing and that person will get the person’s name they received from the wishlist to help them find the perfect gift. At the party, everyone will try to guess who gave them their gift!
If you are hosting a larger Christmas party, White Elephant might be better suited for your event than secret santa.
The White Elephant gift exchange is where each person brings a gift to put in the gift pool that is fully wrapped/bagged.
All party guests will draw a number to determine the order of who gets to grab a gift.
Once someone’s number is called, they will grab a gift and unwrap it in front of everyone.
The next player can decide whether or not they would like to steal the gift of the person that went before them or choose to keep the gift they just opened.
After 3 swaps of the same gift, the turn is over. After everyone has gone, the first player can decide if they want to keep their gift or swap one of the gifts that someone else has.
If they do steal a present, the game keeps going on until someone decides not to steal a present.
Photo Scavenger Hunt
This version of the photo scavenger hunt is a tad bit different than the traditional game. But it’s even more fun in my opinion!
For this photo scavenger hunt, you will need to think of common and uncommon pictures of things that people could have photos of in their camera roll.
Divide the group into teams. Each team will have one minute to find a photo of the item you listed in someone’s camera roll. The team that finds the picture first gets a point. The team that gets the most points wins the game.
