PSALMS TO HELP WITH ANXIETY
As I have been reading throughout the bible throughout the years, it has become very apparent to me that many of the “important” people whose stories are written about dealt with many of the same battles we go through in our day to day life. While our battles might not be as dramatic as something like being trapped in a lions den, or defeating a giant, the overall principles are still them same and can be applied to our everyday struggles. This is proven in the book of Psalms.
HOW DOES PSALMS GIVE US PEACE AND COMFORT?
The book of Psalms is filled with the songs ands prayers that express the feelings and emotions of the writers the book. Writers such David, Solomon, and Moses show their relationship with God as they cry out Him during their times of fear, doubt, and trouble.
Reading the book of Psalms to help with anxiety and to provide comfort and strength during depression will with a doubt calm your heart during these difficult times.
WHY DO WE DEAL WITH ANXIETY?
The root of anxiety is worry of what is to come or not to come in our lives. However, if our full trust is in God and we faith in His will over our lives, why do we feel anxiety?
Its in our human nature!
God’s ways are different then ours and are beyond our understanding. Without His Word in our hearts, we will undoubtedly cripple under the overwhelming feeling of anxiety.
