How to Get Ready in The Morning Faster
Plan two outfit choices
That’s right, plan two outfits instead of one the night before. I cannot count the amount of times when I have an outfit planned the night before, but then when I wake up in the morning, I end up not wanting to wear it and I’m back to square one again.
I am then spending extra time in the morning (that I don’t have) trying to figure out what I’m going to wear!
By picking out at least two outfits the night before you guarantee that you have two options that you can choose from in case you decide that you don’t want to wear one of your options anymore.
Pack all of your bags
Busy mornings are prone to important items being left behind. Be sure to pack all of your bags the night before to be sure that you have everything that you will need for the upcoming day.
Packing bags the night before also saves you time from running around and scrambling to find your things. When you wake up everything will be ready to go by the door for a quick grab & go.
Have a healthy breakfast prepped
How many of you just skip your breakfast all together because there’s never just enough time in the morning?
What if I told you that if you made your breakfast the night before you would always be guaranteed to have time to eat in the morning.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it simply cannot be skipped. No matter how big or how small, you need to be sure you are fueling your body with nutritious food in the morning.
By meal prepping your breakfast ahead of time, you will be able to accomplish this without spending any time in the morning!

Keep your home warmer at night
I am all for going to bed in a cool and cold home. I love the feeling of getting to just wrap up in my cup comforters and getting warm. On the downside of this, going to bed when it’s super cold can hinder your ability to wake up in the morning.
We all know the feeling of not wanting to leave the covers in the morning. And it makes getting up in the morning more painful than it has to be.
Now, I’m not saying you have to go to bed in the heat, but adjusting your temperature a little bit higher in a way that is still comfortable will help you to be able to get out the bed faster.
Get up as soon as your alarm goes off
Pressing the snooze button is one of the biggest factors that could be holding you back from being able to wake up in the morning.
When you hit the snooze button in the morning it actually makes you even more tired than you would have been if you had just hopped out of the bed right when it goes off.
One trick that always helps is to set your alarm clock phone across the room from you at night. This way it forces you to have to get up and turn it off. Once you’re up, you’ll be less likely to want to lay back down and fall asleep.
Master a 10 minute makeup routine
Makeup was one of the biggest things that held me back when I was getting ready in the morning. I would literally have a one-hour makeup routine that just took up so much time and left me late for everything. Once I mastered a 10 minute makeup routine my mornings got so much easier.
Here is an example of a 10-minute makeup routine that will leave you feeling good, looking good and won’t take so much time in the morning.

Finish getting ready at least 20 minutes before you have to leave
Instead of getting ready right until the moment you have to walk out the door, try to leave at least 20 minutes of free time before you actually have to leave.
This extra 20 minutes will help you out if you do end up running a little bit behind, and keeps you from having to rush as much to get everything that in the morning.
