HOW TO INVEST IN YOURSELF
Here are 7 simple ways to invest in yourself!
When you are investing in yourself, you don’t have to implement expensive or extensive changes in your life.
Most of the time, just simple changes to your everyday routine will make all the difference.
1. Read everyday
Reading everyday is essential to your self improvement journey.
Reading helps stimulate your mind and helps reduce stress.
When you read consistently, you open yourself up to endless knowledge.
It so easy to have our time and minds consumed with pointless activities (social media), that draw us away from learning and putting our minds towards things that are important.
I recommend even just turning on an audio book while you do your day to day tasks.
I challenge you to read at least on book per month, and see how your life changes.
2. Set goals
Setting goals for yourself gives you something to work towards and look forward too.
You don’t even have to set big goals, small goals are equally beneficial.
The rush I get when I complete a goal I set for makes me want to set more and accomplish more.

3. Replace TV time with podcasts and ted talks
Instead of binge watching your favorite crime show, use that time to watch informational ted talks and listen to podcasts.
I like to listen to podcasts in the shower, during long car rides, and when I am getting ready in the morning

4. Take a class
If there is something in life you have always wanted to learn how to do – DO IT!
Nowadays you can find a class for anything.
Whether it’s a language class, dance class, yoga class – truly it can be anything.
There are even affordable (even free) online courses you can take from the comfort of your own home.
The world is at our finger tips, and with a simple click of a button, you can have all the information you could ever ask for.
5. Go to sleep and wake up earlier
Taking the time to learn how to invest in yourself all comes down to the basic habits that are in your everyday routine.
Make sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
Now, I don’t mean to go to bed a 3am and wake up at 11am.
The earlier you wake up, the more energy you will have to get things done throughout the day.
6. Spend time studying the bible
Spending time in the word of God is truly the best way you can invest yourself.
The more time you spend time with Him, the more you will get to know Him.
Taking even just 5 minutes everyday to spend in his word will make all the difference.
7. Find a coach/mentor
Find someone who is already where you want to be in life.
Whoever you surround yourself with is who you are more likely to become in a sense.
Having someone in your life to help keep you accountable and to offer you advice on a regular basis can significantly impact your path in life.
