Set values for yourself
Whether you realize it or not, values are something that circle around every single aspect of our lives. Good values or even bad values, they all play a part in everyday life.
Im going to let you in on a little secret…… good values always bring the most internal satisfaction. And most good values are not externally motivated.
When you are trying to figure out what your values are, it is important to think about what is actually important to you. What do you think about on a daily basis? How would you describe your idea of success? What makes you smile? These are all questions you can ask yourself to determine what your values are.

Don’t be afraid to try
Being able to step out of your comfort zone and try new things is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. If you think about it, whats the worst that can happen? Failure?
Each time you fail, you will learn something new. So in theory you actually still technically win even when you fail. When you are able to rise above your fear of the unknown, you will be able to find what you truly love in this life!
This year, I want you to try something that you’ve only dreamed out trying before! No matter how outrageous it may seem in your mind, I want you take the first step into the beginning of something new.
Practice gratitude
I challenge you to think about and write 3 things that you are grateful every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to sleep.
It can be as simple as being grateful that you woke up this morning. The truth is that there is always something to be grateful no matter how small it may seem.
I truly enjoy being able to take a step back and think about the small things to be grateful for because often times they can be forgotten.

Change your eating habits
Our eating habits have a greater affect on our everyday life than they may seem. Do you notice that you are feeling tired throughout the day? Or maybe there are times that you aren’t able to focus like you should be.
Whatever the case may be, changing up your eating habits may do just the trick. Eating balanced meals throughout the day and week can really change the quality of your life.
Now, this doesn’t mean you have to health nut crazy on me. You can still enjoy the food that you love while still changing up your overall eating habits.
If you eat out for lunch, try having something a little lighter and home cooked for dinner. I personally like to track my meals on an app just to make sure I am staying balanced throughout the day.
Wake up earlier
Waking up earlier is a lifestyle change that has changed my entire life around. At first, I didn’t see the big deal in waking up early. But after trying it for awhile, I truly noticed a difference in my day to day life.
When you wake up early, you will be more likely to get everything done on your to do list, have more energy, and make healthier decisions throughout the day.
If thought of waking up early scares you, remember that you can take it one step at a time. If you are used to waking up at 10am or 11am, don’t shock your body and jump to waking up at 6am. Start by waking up at 9am for a couple of weeks and slowly work your way up.
Next thing you know, you’ll be waking up at 5AM in no time.
